Position
Our client is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer that will work with development, product and customer support to understand technical specifications and customer usage models to develop the test that approximate real-world environments. The position requires in depth understanding of the Windows platform. It also requires strong technical background and experience with software programming and scripting. You will be developing an Automation framework to identify potential product issues and champion successful resolution.
Required Qualifications
-3-5 years of experience in QA with an engineering background, proven automation skills and expertise in web testing.
-Proven track record of either architecting or maintaining complex Enterprise-level Automation frameworks
-Expert-level understanding and experience in either C# or python
-Experience with Windows development. Understanding of Mac OS X is a plus
-Proven familiarity with Internet security and Wireshark technologies
-Experienced with creating and maintaining Test Architecture documents, Test Plans and Test cases
-Ability to quickly learn new technologies and incorporate them in automation infrastructure.
-Regex experience
-Masters Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
-Excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills
-Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
-Strong C/C+
programming development skill
-Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP,
-In-depth knowledge of building virtualized test infrastructure
-Understanding of malware and threat analysis is highly desirable
-In-depth knowledge of Win32 API
