Job Description
This is a priority search for a Business Applications Director to be an integral part of the IT team and support organization.
The best candidate knows the Mortgage business, Ellie Maes Encompass and is a strong leader with demonstrable skills who understand both our market place and the integration of technology to enable our users to be more productive.
Leadership
Clearly identifies employees roles and responsibilities.

Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.
Mentors employees and peers through formal and/or informal channels.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Manages a small team of Analysts and support personnel. (currently 3)
Is considered a hands-on member of the team both from a technology and leadership perspective.
Provides leadership and high value by applying both business and technical knowledge.
Works with business owners to implement a practice of continual improvement and usage of business enabling technologies.
Leads program configuration, modification and support.
Leads a weekly discussion with business owners to partner with changes and support issues.
Provide guidance to the organization in establishing an overall long term plan and framework for Mortgage related applications to ensure effective use processing capability and performance.
Provide leadership in data governance and develop standards and processes to ensure our data integrity.
Provide technical expertise in identification, design, configuration, testing and debugging issues and manage unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
Must Haves
Demonstrated Mortgage or Banking cross-functional leadership ability.
Minimum of 4 years of Mortgage LOS experience.
Knows Ellie Mae's Encompass
Demonstrates effective project management skills.
Demonstrates flexibility regarding change of assignments, focus, priorities and needs, etc.
Able to assess and judge staff skill levels and to delegate appropriately
Demonstrates the ability to assimilate new capabilities into the base LOS systems.
Demonstrates working knowledge of other non LOS technologies (ie Web technology, Office tools, Mobile technology etc)
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office technology
Microsoft Project competency
Microsoft Excel competency including Formulas, Macros and Scripting
Minimum Bachelors Degree. (BA, or BS) or related experience that communicates a specific business maturity .
Communication
Has strong verbal and written communication skills and know when to use one versus the other.
Through participation and communication, is seen as a key contributor from the IT organization.
Serves as key participant in team and client meetings.(drives, schedules and manages meetings)
Raises Information Systems visibility through positive / active involvement with other departments
Confronts issues opening and quickly.
Tactfully communicates sensitive information.
Deals with conflict in a proactive and professional manner.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
