Trend Micro, Inc. seeks for a Senior Solution Analyst (Senior Technical Manager) in Cupertino, CA. Job Duties: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software. Act as the single point of contact for all systems, applications and architecture. Work closely with the business analysts, Engineers and stakeholders and provide Technical expertise and deliver world class support to the business. Proactively work with Trend Micro US's engineers to influence system in design, QA and deployment methodology, and the infrastructure standard and policy; provide consultation and create solutions. Plan and oversee the implementation of Trend Micro products' design extensibility and scalability. Help build up the application and infrastructure system core competences. Test and verify rollback procedures before systems deployment. Participate in system development/implementation activities include CRD translation, technical designs, and ARE technical discussion/brain-storming. Contribute technical expertise in the technical reviews and sharing. Exercise judgment in selecting methods/designs, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Lead IS infrastructure task. Work closely with project and engagement managers to provide coherent direction. Lead and manage a team of 4 systems analysts in the delivery of quality system solutions. Provide consulting support services to resolve system application and integration issues. Develop and implement global change management procedures. Provide direction for implementing critical systems redundancy where necessary. Provide project reports and presentations to management as needed. Conduct cost analysis of system solutions and ensure ROI model is adhered to. Conduct analysis of current information systems infrastructure and provide recommendations and plans for improvement. Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and creates applications including coding, testing, debugging, integration and installations. Documents technical requirements for databases, applications, and technology infrastructure. Consults with team members and stakeholders to identify current operating procedures and business processes, to clarify program objectives, gather requirements, and test and debug applications. Provides expertise in all aspects of application and system design and application development which may include interfaces and backend databases.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.
