Legal Counsel Credit and Restructuring
Duties: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating credit enhancement documents, including parent guarantees, standby letters of credit and bank guarantees; communicating credit concerns with customers and carriers; drafting and negotiating security agreements, licenses and related contracts; and reviewing numerous other contracts and arrangements from a credit and a bankruptcy-protection perspective, all in multiple jurisdictions. Liaising with outside counsel when necessary, including reviewing the engagement, work product and associated billings. Provide practical legal and business advice with regard to a wide variety of legal issues that arise in many contexts in connection with credit, bankruptcy and related matters. Identify, analyze and propose solutions to legal and business issues. Will partner with business clients to support business objectives in a manner consistent with applicable law and corporate risk tolerance.
Qualifications: Must have a J.D. degree or equivalent. Must be a member in good standing of the Bar and possess excellent academic credentials. 3-6 years of creditor rights, secured transaction and bankruptcy experience to join its corporate legal team as part of the credit and restructuring department. A strong team player who is proactive, detail oriented, and able to constantly prioritize while handling multiple tasks. Must be able to involve supporting multiple business units at the company in a variety of credit support matters. Should have a strong background in secured transactions, commercial creditor work and creditor rights.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
