We are looking for an experienced machine learning expert who is excited to work at the intersection of cutting-edge innovation and world-class products. As part of the Siri Understanding team, you will help invent the next phase in conversational assistant technology. This is a rare opportunity to transform the experience of hundreds of millions of Siri users across the world.Key QualificationsScientific understanding and practical experience with the state of the art in machine learning, including foundation models; knowledge of natural language understanding is desirableStrong Python programming, debugging, and design skillsExcellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skillsAbility to produce creative and innovative solutions to challenging problemsEnthusiasm for building great user experiences using machine learningDescriptionYour core responsibility will be to drive new technical directions for Siri s language understanding abilities. As a technical leader you will help shape our understanding of what s possible and influence the development roadmap over the short and long term. You will engage with the state of the art in machine learning, natural language understanding and foundation models. You will identify opportunities, run experiments, build prototypes and partner with a broad team of ML and software engineers to help your ideas become reality.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
