The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) organization is responsible for building powerful platforms that enable engineers to deliver incredible experiences to customers. Join this team, and you'll help us create and deploy systems that support Apple s world-renowned hardware and software architecture.
Our compute team is responsible for designing and building the foundational pieces of our in-house cloud technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers across Apple to build and deploy forward-looking high-performance disaggregated storage and virtual networking technologies for various cloud platforms. The successful candidate is highly motivated individual with strong technical skills to create intuitive user experiences, who is passionate about quality, and has a keen eye for the details that surprise and delight our customers.

years of experience building software solutions in JavaExperience with storage ( ScaleIO, Ceph ) or Networking Technologies ( SDN, OpenVSwitch )2
years of experience with using and building cloud technologies such as CloudStack, OpenStack, AWS, GCP etc.Strong systems programming skills and knowledge of operating system fundamentalsFluency in C/C++, Go (Golang), Python, or similar languages in a systems contextStrong understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and distributed systems conceptsAbility to effectively communicate within a team and with project collaboratorsExcellent problem solving and analytical thinking skillsEnthusiastic about quality, design, and user experienceDescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for developing, debugging and maintaining disaggregated storage and virtual networking software solutions for various cloud platforms. Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
