years proven experience shipping user-facing applications on Apple platforms preferredProficiency in media processing technologies such as Core Image, Core Graphics, Core Video, Core Animation or AVFoundation, Metal, OpenCL, OpenGLProficiency in iOS development using Swift or Objective-CExperience delivering high quality software at scaleExperience as a technical lead; demonstrating strong communication, collaboration, and project management skillsWilling to take responsibility and ownership of features and drive key architectural decisionsCommitted to encouraging an open and inclusive work environmentAbility to communicate effectively, collaborate, and build long-term relationships across the organizationAbility and desire to mentor others in achieving engineering excellence and to be a catalyst on the teamDescriptionYou will be one of the founding members of a new engineering team focused on building state-of-the-art creative editing tools. You will take ownership around defining, planning, and crafting the overall system architectures for key product areas and driving end-to-end feature development.
To succeed in this role, you must be a strong programmer and a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations. In addition to engineering excellence, you should have experience in iOS development specifically, have a keen eye for the user experience, and be able to create forward looking, scalable architecture designs from evolving feature requirements.
This is a highly collaborative role with the opportunity to evolve in many directions.Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
