This is a rare and extraordinary opportunity allowing ownership from architecture definition to component selection, schematic capture and board layout to validation and manufacturing.Key QualificationsStrong EE fundamentals with intuitive skills and an understanding of why our field works the way it doesProduct development experience in HW designExperience and understanding of basic power management including SMPS converters and linear regulatorsHands-on lab experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, as well as functional verificationFamiliarity with various data protocols:

Responsibilities:
Lead HW architecture definition, design and development
SPICE simulation
Schematic capture, component selection and design review
Manage PCB layout with our team of designers
HW validation planning and execution
Custom silicon specifications and validation, from simple glue logic to multi-core ARM SoCs
Collaborate with cross functional teams involved in product design and development process at AppleEducation & ExperienceA Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
