Apple is seeking a senior machine learning engineer to join our worldwide sales team, Data Solutions & Initiatives (DSI). DSI is a product strategy and engineering team that works closely with business development and sales finance. The ideal candidate will collect business requirements, prepare data sets, train, evaluate and deploy Machine Learning (ML) models, monitor their performance and retrain models if needed. These models will drive Apple critical financial planning and business activities.Key Qualifications10
years of machine learning industry experienceStrong experience using machine learning tools, libraries, and frameworks such as scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, pytorch, mllib and othersExcellent knowledge and experience in all major machine learning algorithms, statistical regression and deep learning included.Strong production experience training and evaluating ML models with proper pipelines and metricsProficiency in at least one programming language, preferably PythonStrong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and different database technologiesExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skillsDescriptionThis role will build the suite of Data, AI, and Machine Learning products to deliver measurable business value for Sales and Finance Business community.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, use cases and business metrics
- Work with data engineers to set up the data pipeline and prepare data sets for model building
- Work with business domain experts to understand the data and create features for model training
- Design, build, and evaluate models. Partner with the SRE team to deploy the models for inference. Monitor the models' performance and re-train as needed

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
