The Core Platform Bring-up team within Apple's CoreOS organization is looking for an extraordinary software engineer to work on state-of-the art technology, debug, and bring-up of next generation iOS devices. We work on a core technology for Apple. In this role you will have the chance to make a major impact in the way that Apple develops and ships iOS based products. Key QualificationsA genuine passion for embedded developmentHighly proficient in C/C++Experience with JTAG and other debuggersPrevious experience writing embedded device driversPrevious experience with platform bring-up or porting of operating systemsPrevious exposure to hardware and processor simulationKnowledge of hardware platforms & processor architecturesProven creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skillsHighly professional, with the ability to deliver proven work on tight schedulesExcellent collaborative skillsOutstanding written and verbal communicationDescriptionWork with multi-functional teams to support product requirements for the iPhone/iPad/AppleWatch/AppleTV/Mac bring-up, verification, and debug of new hardware platforms.

Involvement in specification for hardware platforms.Education & ExperienceMaster's (preferred) or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,105.60 and $208,300.00 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
