Experience working with sensors (e.g. touch, force, pressure), wireless communications (Bluetooth), low power design, inking technologies, and wireless chargingExperience designing high volume, high quality consumer electronic productsExperience leading a technical teamDescriptionThe hardware engineer will be part of the team designing the iPad accessories. The engineer will be involved on those accessories from the architecture stage, to the design and validation phase, all the way until the products get released to customers.
Major responsibilities include:
- Schematic capture and managing PCB layout design of the electrical system, including power management, micro-controller, wireless communication, sensor integration and component selection.
- Execution of the design in high volume, including characterization and validation across all development builds.
- Authoring of detailed engineering requirements specifications.
- Working with and managing suppliers/manufacturing partners including overseas build support.
- Interface with and present to cross functional leaders for project reviews and discussions.Education & ExperienceBachelors or higher degree, and 5
years of industry work experience in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
