years experience testing image quality of camera systemsExpertise in executing and analyzing objective and subjective image quality dataUnderstanding of how camera optics, image sensor technology, and ISP algorithms (AE, AWB, AF, etc.
) impact final images/videosExcellent written and verbal communications skillsPresentation experience with cross functional teamsAttention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to pick up new technologies quickly and self motivation to expand technical knowledgeStrong knowledge of professional equipment (lighting kits, lenses, etc) Description You will work closely with hardware teams focused on developing new camera technologies You have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, gaining in-depth knowledge of how new systems function Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continually shifting priorities Develop and foster partnerships with cross-functional teams Develop/execute objective and subjective image quality lab tests of camera systems Analyze subjective image and video data captured in the field Create reports and deliver executive level presentations of results to SW/HW teams Perform tests related to product benchmark studies Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs found via image and video analysis Education & Experience BS or MS in Engineering, Photo or Imaging Science, Photography, or Computer Science or equivalent experience Additional Requirements Experience with Matlab, Python, or other scripting languages Experience executing professional photo shoots Phase One hardware and Capture One software knowledge Hardware Test Engineer Recommended Skills Algorithms Attention To Detail Communication Coordinating Image Quality Imaging Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
