System Development Engineer, Performance Engineering, Graviton SW

Job summaryThe Graviton Software team is looking for performance engineering focused Software Engineers to drive the optimization of open source and internal applications.
AWS created Graviton as a strategic initiative to improve how software works at Amazon scale.
We benchmark and improve internal and open source software, diagnose and fix issues to make sure we have available Graviton instances for customers and that customers are not affected by hardware, firmware or software bugs.
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to lead the innovation and deliver software that powers the world largest cloud provider.
As a Performance Software Engineer, you will work on AWS services like Elastic Map Reduce, ElastiCache, and RDS to toubleshoot bottlenecks and to optimize the architecture, algorithms, and deployment on Graviton.
You will also work on open source code, improving it and contributing the changes back to the community.
You will play an instrumental role in driving the AWS roadmap to deliver cost-effective and performant computing systems.
In this role you will use and further develop your deep knowledge in areas including experiment design, implementation, and data analysis.
You will have the opportunity to understand and improve how AWS delivers on one of the most important shifts at the core of the data center:
our migration to Arm applications.
AWS Graviton is a new Arm-based CPU developed by Amazon.
It delivers up to 40% better price performance over x86-based instances for compute-intensive workloads.
AWS teams like RDS, ElastiCache, and EMR depend on Graviton's high performance and lower overall cost to deliver products their customers love.
This role is open for Austin, Seattle and Cupertino locations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
